CITY OF COMMERCE - COMMERCE CASINO SUMMER CONCERT SERIES. The Commerce Casino is presenting a series of concerts. All concerts are standing room only and 21+ only. LONG BEACH - NFL KICKOFF EXPERIENCE. Join the party in downtown Long Beach at the NFL Kickoff Experience at Alamitos Beach. The multi-faceted event will start at noon, leading up to the evening's season-opening game between the Buffalo Bills and LA Rams. In addition to many football-related attractions, including interactive games and physical challenges, festival attendees will be treated to a concert by international music superstar J Balvin. On the occasion of her 73rd birthday, the City of Los Angeles and the California Jazz and Blues Museum will commemorate the late Barbara Morrison with the unveiling of Barbara Morrison Square at 43rd Street and Degnan Boulevard at 10 a.m. The ceremony will be followed by the inaugural Barbara Morrison Jazz and Blues Festival which will continue until 7 p.m. In addition to the performances there will be a California Jazz and Blues Museum Artwalk, kids' korner and a variety of vendors and food trucks. PASADENA - PASADENA LATINO HERITAGE PARADE AND FESTIVAL. Join local schools, community groups, elected officials, dignitaries and others at the 24th annual Latino Heritage Parade and Festival. The parade theme is "De Colores/An Array of Colors." The parade will begin at 10 a.m. from Prescott Street and will continue along Los Robles to Villa Street.
