ANAHEIM - PERFORMANCES AT THE PACKING HOUSE General Area Jazz Combo (Jazz) from 7 - 9 p.m. Weekly performances at the Packing House on the mezzanine stage vary. CLAREMONT - CLAREMONT FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE. The Friday night concert series takes place through October at locations in Claremont Village. Regular performances are from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Village Plaza (VP), 101 North Indian Hill Boulevard, the Claremont Chamber of Commerce (CC), 205 Yale Avenue (at Second Street) and Shelton Park (SP, Bonita/Harvard). COSTA MESA - METRO POINTE ENTERTAINMENT SERIES. Ohio Trio Plus (Motown/R&B/Dance). COSTA MESA - SEGERSTROM CENTER FOR THE ARTS/ARGYROS PLAZA EVENTS. Summer Sounds on the Plaza at 7:30 p.m. with Extra Ancestral (Afro-Beat/Reggae/Jazz). The Segerstrom Center for the Arts will present a variety of programs outdoors in the Argyros Plaza. Unless otherwise noted, all performances last approximately one hour to 1 1/2 hours. INDIO - OUTDOOR MUSIC AT FANTASY SPRINGS RESORT CASINO. Matchbox Twenty Too (Matchbox 20 Tribute) with Lifetime Rockers. Outdoor music returns to the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Guests must be 18 or over; masks and social distancing required. The Rock Yard is an amphitheater-style arena with two side-by-side stages, and admission is free. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is located at 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway. LONG BEACH - LONG BEACH MUNICIPAL BAND CONCERT SERIES. The Long Beach Municipal Band, conducted by Kurt Curtis, returns for the band's annual summer concerts. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday - Friday night. Guest vocalist performances generally take place during the second half of the concerts. LOS ANGELES (DOWNTOWN AND VICINITY) - DANCE DTLA. The summer season of Dance DTLA takes place from 7 - 11 p.m. on the Jerry Moss Plaza at the Music Center, 135 N. Grand Avenue. Dance DTLA is a free evening of dancing under the stars to DJs or live bands, with instruction in different dance styles. Space is open on a first-come basis. MISSION VIEJO - PACIFIC SYMPHONY "SYMPHONY ON THE GO." The Pacific Symphony's mobile communiity concert experience is touring Orange County. The 45-minute pop-up concert will take place at 7 p.m. The concert will take place at St. Kilian Church, 26872 Estanciero Drive. A woodwind quintet led by bassoonoist Andrew Klein will be performing. REDLANDS - REDLANDS BOWL SUMMER MUSIC FESTIVAL 2022. Disney's The Little Mermaid, directed and produced by Wayne Scott. LONG BEACH - PIRATE INVASION AND MERMAID FESTIVAL. Hundreds of costumed pirates and pirate ships will descend on Long Beach from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be sword fights and cannon and musket battles, a treasure hunt, adult and children's costume contests, a living history pirate encampment, food vendors, live pirate bands and DJ entertainment, and more. MONTEBELLO - MONTEBELLO DOWNTOWN STREETFEST. The Montebello Downtown StreetFest will take place from noon - 10 p.m. on Whittier Boulevard between Montebello Boulevard and 4th Street. The area will be closed to all traffic from 4 a.m. - midnight. The will be music, a beer garden, food booths and food trucks, artisan and craft vendors and a kids' zone. Bands will be: 12:30 - 2 p.m. - Alejandro Gonzalez, 3:30 - 5 p.m. - Anything for Salinas (Selena Tribute), 6 - 7:30 p.m. - Wiseguys Big Band Machine, and 8:30 - 10 p.m. - Poncho Sanchez (Latin Jazz).
