July 4 - Freedom Festival - The Fourth of July Freedom Festival will take place from 2 - 9 p.m. at the Lenny Brewster Sports Center, 21024 Otoe Road at Dale Evans Parkway (1.5 miles north of Highway 18). There will be family activities, vendors, a beer garden and music by the bands TBA from 2 - 4:30 p.m. and from 6:30 - 9 p.m. No alcohol, BBQs or grills, and no animals; all parks also are smoke-free. Sunset Concert Series - The Apple Valley Sunset Concert Series takes place on Thursdays from 6 - 9 p.m. at Civic Center Park amphitheater, 14999 Dale Evans Parkway. The park is adjacent to Apple Valley Town Hall and across from Super Target in the Apple Valley Commons. There will be food vendors and a beer garden; no pets, smoking or outside alcohol. July 1 and 2 - Chino Fireworks Spectacular. The Chino Fireworks Spectacular will take place over two days at Ruben S. Ayala Park, 14225 Central Avenue. Friday will be a carnival with carnival rides/games (fee) from 4 - 10 p.m. The fireworks celebration will take place on Saturday from 1 - 10 p.m. Food court, carnival rides/games (fee) will open at 1 p.m. Entertainment by Thank-U Drive Thru (Rock & Roll) will begin at 5 p.m. and the fireworks will be at 9 p.m. There also will be a military recognition at 7 p.m. No personal fireworks are allowed. Performances at the Chino Spectum. The Chino Spectrum presents live music on Friday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the food court area. The Chino Spectrum is located at 3801 - 4097 Grand Avenue at the 71 Freeway. Information: (714) 259-1046 or www.shopchinospectrum.com.
Chino Kiwanis/City of Chino Summer Concert Series. Concerts take place from 7 - 8:30 on the Chino City Hall Lawn, 13220 Central Avenue. Information: (909) 334-3258, www.cityofchino.org or www.chinokiwanis.com.
Mondays July 11 - August 15 - Chino Seniors at the Square - Special concert series for seniors will take place on Mondays from from 6 - 8 p.m. at Aguiar Square, 6th Street between "C" and "D" Streets. Those interested may purchase a dinner which will be served from 5 - 6 p.m. prior to the concert, but meal reservations must be made in advance, $4 for residents and $14 for non-residents. Chino Hills Summer Concert Series. All concerts (except July 4) are from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at Veterans Park, 14877 Eucalyptus Avenue. The evening will include a Kids Corner with crafts and activities for children, with parental supervision required. Information: (909) 364-2700 or www.chinohills.org.
Performances at the Shoppes at Chino Hills. The Shoppes at Chino Hills will present a variety of performances throughout the summer. See individual concert dates for performance start times. July 9 - 135th Colton Birthday Celebration. The celebration will take place from 6 - 9 p.m. at Colton High, 777 W. Valley Boulevard, in the Football Stadium and on Rancho Avenue. Rancho Avenue will be closed to traffic from C Street to Valley Boulevard all day. The event will include live music by Savor (Santana Tribute), games, food and merchandise vendors and a fireworks show. July 4 - Corona Independence Day Celebration. The Main Street USA Independence Day parade will take place on at 9 a.m. along Main Street from Ontario to Olive Street. The July 4th Festival will be from 5 - 10 p.m. at Santana Park, 598 Santana Way (limited parking at Crossroads Church, enter at Ontario/Fullerton). The park will open at 5 p.m. and the event features games, food vendors and entertainment (bands TBA), followed by a formal program and tribute to the military at 8:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m. Pets, smoking and alcohol are not allowed in the park. City of Corona Summer Concerts. Concerts are Thursdays from 7 - 9 p.m. on the City Hall South Lawn, 400 S. Vicentia. Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome, and food and beverages will be available for purchase beginnning at 6 p.m. No pets. Information: (951) 736-2241 or www.coronaca.gov.
Rockin' at Dos Lagos. The Shops at Dos Lagos offers a series of Saturday concerts. Concerts are from 7 - 9 p.m. in the parking lot near TGIF; bring lawn chairs and/or blankets. Eastvale "65th Street Live!" Concerts. Concerts are from 7:30 - 9 p.m. at Harada Heritage Park, 13099 65th Street. There will be food available for purchase, and bring blankets or chairs. July 1 - Fontana Car Show. This NON-CRUISE event takes place on the first Friday of the month from 5 - 9 p.m. at the Fontana Civic Center, 8353 Sierra Avenue. The event includes pre-1979 classics, hot rods and muscle cars, imports and customs, low riders, specialty/exotics and motorcycles. July 4 - Fontana 4th of July Celebration. The Fontana 4th of July Celebration moves to a new location this year. The event will take place from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Miller Amphitheater, 17004 Arrow Boulevard. There will be a variety of food and merchandise vendors and music by Yachtly Crew (Soft Yacht Rock). July 30 - Fontana Arts Festival. The Fontana Arts Festival will take place from 5 - 10 p.m. at Fontana Park, 15556 Summit Avenue. There will be performing and visual arts showcases, live music, art exhibits and demonstrations, activities for children, and food and beverages available for purchase. Fontana City Summer Concerts - The Fontana Summer Concerts will take place on from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Miller Park Amphitheater, 17002 Arrow Boulevard (adjacent to the Lewis Library and Technology Center). Fontana Summer Family Fun Nights - The Fontana Summer Family Fun Nights will take place from 5 - 9:30 p.m. at a different park for each event. The evening will include a concert followed by a movie. There also will be arts and crafts, food vendors, a beer and wine garden and carnival games. Outdoor Music at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Outdoor music returns to the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Guests must be 18 or over; masks and social distancing required. The Rock Yard is an amphitheater-style arena with two side-by-side stages, and admission is free. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is located at 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway. Two other series, Noches de Fuego on Wednesday and Sunday nights and Country Night on Thursday night, have now been moved inside to LIT. 21+ for entry to LIT. See additional details on website. Lake Arrowhead Village Summer Concert Series - All performances (unless otherwise noted) take place from 7 - 9 p.m. at Lake Arrowhead Village, 28200 Highway 189. Reserved seating is available for purchase; free open festival seating is in area behind tables. Festival seating area opens at 10 a.m. the morning of the concerts, but no chairs can be place in line at the gates prior to 6 a.m. Beach chairs and/or blankets are allowed in the festival seating area but not coolers. July 4 - Norco 4th of July Celebration. The day begins with the Mayor's Equestrian Trail Ride and red-white-and-blue costume contest. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the George Ingalls Event Center, parking lot 2 (3737 Crestview Drive at Sixth), and the ride departs at 9:30 a.m. The Patriotic Picnic in the Park will take place from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Pikes Peak Park, 97 Sixth Street. There will be live music, crafts and contests for the whole family, a bike/trike parade and more. Attendees may bring a picnic, or food and drinks will be available for purchase. July 4 - Ontario Independence Day Celebration. The Ontario Independence Day Parade will take place at 9 a.m. downtown on Euclid Street. The parade will be followed by the "Blast at Ontario Town Square" at (about) 10:30 a.m. with the Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band and the All-States picnic (bring your own picnic). Afternoon events take place in Westwind Park, 2455 East Riverside Drive (south of the 60 Freeway between Archibald and Vineyard). There will be and family activities with rides and games at minimal cost; admission and live entertainment are free. Ontario Summer Concerts at Ontario Town Square. There will be craft and family activities, a farmers market, and vendors beginning at 5 p.m., and concerts are from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the bandshell in the Ontario Town Square, 224 North Euclid (at "B" Street). July 4 - Palm Desert Independence Day Celebration. The City of Palm Desert will celebrate Independence Day with a concert and fireworks at Civic Center Park, 73510 Fred Waring Drive. The event will take place from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. featuring the Swing Cats Big Band with the Swing Kittens. A 20-minute fireworks show will take place at 9 p.m. Attendees may bring picnic dinners, but alcoholic beverages, smoking at portable BBQs are prohibited. Food trucks also will be available for food purchases. July 4 - Palm Springs 4th of July Events. Palm Springs events will include a concert in the park featuring Turn The Page (Bob Seger Tribute) at 5:30 p.m. The concert will take place at Sunrise Park, 480 S. Sunrise Way. The "All American Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular" will take place at 9:15 p.m. at Palm Spring Stadium, 1901 Baristo Road. Information: www.palmspringsca.gov.

July - Redlands 4th of July Celebration. The City of Redlands will start the day with the 4th of July parade. This year's theme is "Parade of Stars." The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Franklin Elementary School on Colton Avenue, then goes east on Colton Avenue to Sylvan Park. Festivities continue at the park until 3 p.m. with the District 909 Band (Acoustic Soul) and a flag raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Evening fireworks program is a paid/ticketed event. Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival 2022. Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival programs take place on Tuesday and Friday evenings through August (unless otherwise noted). July 3 - Concert For Heroes. The 2022 Concert for Heroes will take place in the amphitheater of the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard. It is the only symphonic concert staged in a national cemetery. The concert will feature the Inland Empire/Riverside Philharmonic Orchestra performing a program of patriotic music and popular classics. Limited seating is available in the amphitheater, and it is recommended that all attending bring lawn chairs and/or blankets (and no bare feet are allowed). The cemetery is a National Shrine, and it is requested that all in attendance respect the grave sites of those who have served. Alcohol is not permitted.
