July 4 - Freedom Festival - The Fourth of July Freedom Festival will take place from 2 - 9 p.m. at the Lenny Brewster Sports Center, 21024 Otoe Road at Dale Evans Parkway (1.5 miles north of Highway 18). There will be family activities, vendors, a beer garden and music by the bands TBA from 2 - 4:30 p.m. and from 6:30 - 9 p.m. No alcohol, BBQs or grills, and no animals; all parks also are smoke-free. Sunset Concert Series - The Apple Valley Sunset Concert Series takes place on Thursdays from 6 - 9 p.m. at Civic Center Park amphitheater, 14999 Dale Evans Parkway. The park is adjacent to Apple Valley Town Hall and across from Super Target in the Apple Valley Commons. There will be food vendors and a beer garden; no pets, smoking or outside alcohol. July 1 and 2 - Chino Fireworks Spectacular. The Chino Fireworks Spectacular will take place over two days at Ruben S. Ayala Park, 14225 Central Avenue. Friday will be a carnival with carnival rides/games (fee) from 4 - 10 p.m. The fireworks celebration will take place on Saturday from 1 - 10 p.m. Food court, carnival rides/games (fee) will open at 1 p.m. Entertainment by Thank-U Drive Thru (Rock & Roll) will begin at 5 p.m. and the fireworks will be at 9 p.m. There also will be a military recognition at 7 p.m. No personal fireworks are allowed. Rancho Avenue will be closed to traffic from C Street to Valley Boulevard all day. The event will include live music by Savor (Santana Tribute), games, food and merchandise vendors and a fireworks show. July 4 - Corona Independence Day Celebration. The Main Street USA Independence Day parade will take place on at 9 a.m. along Main Street from Ontario to Olive Street. The July 4th Festival will be from 5 - 10 p.m. at Santana Park, 598 Santana Way (limited parking at Crossroads Church, enter at Ontario/Fullerton). The park will open at 5 p.m. and the event features games, food vendors and entertainment (bands TBA), followed by a formal program and tribute to the military at 8:30 p.m. and fireworks at 9 p.m. Pets, smoking and alcohol are not allowed in the park. July 1 - Fontana Car Show. This NON-CRUISE event takes place on the first Friday of the month from 5 - 9 p.m. at the Fontana Civic Center, 8353 Sierra Avenue. The event includes pre-1979 classics, hot rods and muscle cars, imports and customs, low riders, specialty/exotics and motorcycles. July 4 - Fontana 4th of July Celebration. The Fontana 4th of July Celebration moves to a new location this year. The event will take place from 6 - 9 p.m. at the Miller Amphitheater, 17004 Arrow Boulevard. There will be a variety of food and merchandise vendors and music by Yachtly Crew (Soft Yacht Rock). July 30 - Fontana Arts Festival. The Fontana Arts Festival will take place from 5 - 10 p.m. at Fontana Park, 15556 Summit Avenue. Outdoor Music at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. Outdoor music returns to the Rock Yard at Fantasy Springs on Friday and Saturday nights from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m. Guests must be 18 or over; masks and social distancing required. The Rock Yard is an amphitheater-style arena with two side-by-side stages, and admission is free. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino is located at 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway. Two other series, Noches de Fuego on Wednesday and Sunday nights and Country Night on Thursday night, have now been moved inside to LIT. 21+ for entry to LIT. See additional details on website. July 4 - Norco 4th of July Celebration. The day begins with the Mayor's Equestrian Trail Ride and red-white-and-blue costume contest. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at the George Ingalls Event Center, parking lot 2 (3737 Crestview Drive at Sixth), and the ride departs at 9:30 a.m. The Patriotic Picnic in the Park will take place from 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Pikes Peak Park, 97 Sixth Street. There will be live music, crafts and contests for the whole family, a bike/trike parade and more. Attendees may bring a picnic, or food and drinks will be available for purchase. July 4 - Ontario Independence Day Celebration. The Ontario Independence Day Parade will take place at 9 a.m. downtown on Euclid Street. The parade will be followed by the "Blast at Ontario Town Square" at (about) 10:30 a.m. with the Ontario/Chaffey Community Show Band and the All-States picnic (bring your own picnic). Afternoon events take place in Westwind Park, 2455 East Riverside Drive (south of the 60 Freeway between Archibald and Vineyard). There will be and family activities with rides and games at minimal cost; admission and live entertainment are free. July 4 - Palm Desert Independence Day Celebration. The City of Palm Desert will celebrate Independence Day with a concert and fireworks at Civic Center Park, 73510 Fred Waring Drive. The event will take place from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. featuring the Swing Cats Big Band with the Swing Kittens. A 20-minute fireworks show will take place at 9 p.m. Attendees may bring picnic dinners, but alcoholic beverages, smoking at portable BBQs are prohibited. Food trucks also will be available for food purchases. July 4 - Palm Springs 4th of July Events. Palm Springs events will include a concert in the park featuring Turn The Page (Bob Seger Tribute) at 5:30 p.m. The concert will take place at Sunrise Park, 480 S. Sunrise Way. July - Redlands 4th of July Celebration. The City of Redlands will start the day with the 4th of July parade. This year's theme is "Parade of Stars." The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at Franklin Elementary School on Colton Avenue, then goes east on Colton Avenue to Sylvan Park. Festivities continue at the park until 3 p.m. with the District 909 Band (Acoustic Soul) and a flag raising ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Evening fireworks program is a paid/ticketed event. Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival 2022. Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival programs take place on Tuesday and Friday evenings through August (unless otherwise noted). July 3 - Concert For Heroes. The 2022 Concert for Heroes will take place in the amphitheater of the Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard. It is the only symphonic concert staged in a national cemetery. The concert will feature the Inland Empire/Riverside Philharmonic Orchestra performing a program of patriotic music and popular classics. Limited seating is available in the amphitheater, and it is recommended that all attending bring lawn chairs and/or blankets (and no bare feet are allowed). The cemetery is a National Shrine, and it is requested that all in attendance respect the grave sites of those who have served. Alcohol is not permitted.
