Free Concerts | Links | 2008 Extras | About the Site CONCERTS BY CITY - ORANGE COUNTY This page lists concerts in Orange County by city name. Click on the appropriate section of the alphabet for the city you are looking for, or continue scrolling down the page. Please remember that although every attempt is made to bring you the most current concert information, all schedules are subject to change. It is recommended that you confirm any performance you wish to attend. A - D | E - I | J - L | M - R | S - Z * * * The theme for this summer's site is "METAMORPHOSES." Each year artwork and photographs which in some way express or interpret the theme appear on the concert pages. This year there will be something new -- "audience participation" of sorts. Letters have been sent and continue to be sent to local historical societies and/or local history-related groups within cities inviting them to submit two photographs to appear on the site for the summer. In keeping with the "METAMORPHOSES" theme, one picture would be a historical photo, the second would be a more current image of the same thing. The idea is to depict a change which has taken place in the city, possibly one that has transformed the city in some way. ALL CITIES covered in the listings are invited to participate. Photographs from city offices and historical societies only will be accepted through the Fourth of July weekend. After that time, if no photographs appear for a city, the invitation will be extended to site visitors who have particular ties to their cities. Those wishing to submit images may download the introductory letter and photo release form by clicking here and following the instructions.
