A - D | E - I | J - L | M - R | S - Z AI-generated image from text a "Perfect City" WELCOME TO THE SITE'S NEWEST SUMMER GUEST, PHOTOGRAPHER ANN ELLIOTT CUTTING. Over the years the site has welcomed artists whose works in some way express or interpret the summer theme. This summer the site theme deals with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and creating and expressing concepts through images generated by AI. Ann Cutting is a photographer who has been exploring the impact of AI on her work, and this page includes images from numerous categories of AI-created works which she calls "Projects AI." You can read more about her on the site's Guests page. All works are © by Ann Cutting and may not be reproduced without express permission from the artist. Prints are available for purchase at www.noboring walls.com. From "AI Created Fashion." Midjourney image © Ann Elliott Cutting "PROJECTS AI." It was during a sabbatical that Ann began exploring the world of AI image making. She brings her work experience in photography, technology and science to the ethical challenge of what she refers to as "this disruptive innovation." While acknowledging the new tool and medium, Ann is exploring its potential to change the very nature of how we work, how we collaborate and how we create. She recognizes and appreciates the millions of creators and billions of works on which the Midjourney AI was trained. Artist Process: Ann has used the AI image-generator Midjourney to create the images presented here. To create the digital illustrations, Ann says she "relied on her artistic skills and experience, authoring and submitting creative and technical instructions to achieve her desired expression." She selected, coordinated and arranged iterative versions of each illustration, incrementally refining each work in Midjourney to create the final version of the image.
