2024 WEBSITE SPECIAL GUESTS

     Over the years, guest artists have been invited to exhibit works on the site which either express or interpret the summer theme in certain ways. Information on the current 2024 Website Special Guests is included below.


GUEST PAINTER - BIANCA TURNER. Bianca Turner is a self-taught artist who was born in Romania. In addition to her background in art, she also holds degrees in economics and biology. She currently works from her home studio in Los Angeles. Her paintings hang in private and corporate international collections as well as at the Haegeumgang Museum in South Korea. Her work has been featured in a variety of art publications, and she has received a number of awards including one from the MUSA International Art Space and the Leonardo da Vinci International Prize for The Universal Artist which she received in Florence, Italy.

     Turner is the author of the the book "The Business of Art," currently available on Amazon. (Cover image: artist self portrait) Her 2024 art projects include a solo exhibition at CADFAB Gallery in Los Angeles and group exhibitions at museums in Japan, South Korea, Mexico and Brazil. Her work currently is on display through August 25 in a solo exhibition at the Art Depot Gallery in Fontana, where she also will be hosting an Artist Workshop on August 17 from 3 - 5 p.m. The gallery address is 16822 Spring Street. The images of her artwork displayed on this site come primarily from a series of works in a collection she has titled "Deeper than AI." GUEST PHOTOGRAPHER - ANN ELLIOTT CUTTING. Ann Cutting is an award-winning commercial and fine art photographer of 30 years and has been the owner of Ann Elliott Cutting Photography since 1987. Her interests and career background bridge the worlds of art and science, as she researched gene regulation in early development as a molecular biologist in the labs at Caltech for 20 years. Ann currently is an associate professor in the Photo Department at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, where she also served as interim co-chair of the department during the pandemic. She is on the faculty at the Los Angeles Center for Photography, where she is an Advisory Board member and instructor. It was during a sabbatical that she began exploring the world of AI image making.

     Ann Cutting has won numerous awards for her photography, and she has co-authored several books, the newest of which is Busy Bear, a children's book by Ann Elliott Cutting and Margi Denton. It will be available this September at www.promptstorm.com. Her client list includes companies like Nike, Nissan and Atlantic Records, and her photographs are included in the collections at the New Hampshire Institute of Art. The images of her artwork displayed on this site come from a series of works in a collection she has titled "Projects AI."
