CONCERTS BY DATE

The "Concerts By Date" pages list concerts by date for Los Angeles County, Orange County and the Inland Empire for the month of September 2012. For a list of all concerts in all cities available on a particular day, click the date on the calendar.  For lists for Los Angeles County, Orange County or the Inland Empire only, click on the county name to the left. Please remember that although every attempt is made to bring you the most up-to-date information, all schedules are subject to change. It is recommended that you confirm any performance you wish to attend.

PLEASE READ - AN IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THIS FALL: For those visitors who are new to the site this year, it is important to know that there are two phases to www.dorothyswebsite.org. The Summer version of the site, which is here now, runs from June through the end of September. The Fall/Winter/Spring version will return in its reduced three-page format on October 1. After "10 Summers," however, I will be taking a bit of a break for the next couple of months to complete a book entitled "Ten Summers: The Story of dorothyswebsite.org." The book will include many of the photos, poetry, essays and other works found on the site over the last ten summers, plus some inside information and behind-the-scenes details and background. Lists of concerts will be posted at the beginning of October and November, but there will be no regular updates during those two months. The home page will be re-designed to accomodate the site's Twitter and Facebook postings, and those will be the main source of new information during that time. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

The image on the calendar with the horses is part of a Federal Works Project Administration-era fresco called "Pastoral California." The fresco was restored several years ago, and you can read more about the interesting story behind it - and it's unlikely link to music - on the site's "Guests" page.
