A WORLD OF FLOWERS! About the photo on this page and other concert pages . . . The language of flowers is universal, with beautiful flowers appreciated throughout the world. An organization called "Fleurs de Villes" - meaning "flowers of the cities" - brings beautiful, original displays of flowers to cities throughout Canada, the United States, Australia and beyond. In each city the artistic floral displays are organized, Fleurs de Villes says they work "with top local florists, designers, growers and nurseries to showcase the city's world-class talent and create stunning displays of art." These local florists use mannequins as a base for floral installations created around a particular theme. Photos on the "Concerts by Date" county pages show scenes from the 2023 show created around the theme "Voyage," celebrating the cultures, people and heritage of iconic global destinations. Images on the "Concerts by Type of Music" page show scenes from the 2022 show created around the theme "Femmes," with displays depicting culturally, politically and historically significant women from around the world. All images are from the Southern California installations at South Coast Plaza. To learn more about Fleurs de Villes and see other images, visit the organization's website at www.fleursdevilles.com.
