THE POETRY OF JAMES RAGAN

     Dorothyswebsite.org is pleased to welcome internationally recognized poet James Ragan to the site as Guest Poet for 2005. Dr. Ragan has graciously allowed six of his poems to be posted here this summer. The titles appear below. The poems have been selected from his books Too Long a Solitude (2006), In the Talking Hours (2004), Lusions (1997), The Hunger Wall (1995), and Womb-Weary (1990). His other works include The World Shouldering I, and plays The Landlord, Saints and Commedia (first produced by Raymond Burr in the U.S. and later the Soviet Union). He also co-edited Yevgeny Yevtushenko, Collected Poems: 1952 - 1990.
