Performers and special guests will include the Susie Hansen Latin Band, the Word in Motion Salsa Dancers, and animals of South America from the Wildlife Company. The Chinese Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is a traditional Chinese celebration dating back to the Tang Dynasty. The event will be celebrated from 6 - 8 p.m. at the Riverside Metropolitan Museum's Heritage House, 8193 Magnolia Avenue. The event will include Moon Festival stories told by Barbara Wong, chopsticks training, Tai Chi demonstrations, arts and crafts, a lion dance performance and traditional songs and music, cooking demonstrations, and moon viewing through high-powered telescopes. REDLANDS - FREE CONCERT BENEFITTING REDLANDS RECREATION AND SENIOR PROGRAMS. "Dream Concert." Performers Dan Damon and Victoria Goodson will present a free concert benefitting the city's Recreation and Senior programs. The concert will take place from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Redlands Bowl. Damon is a keyboard and vocal virtuoso, and Goodson was the winner of radio station KATY's Inland Empire vocal competition.
