As an "extra" for site visitors, this page lists a few other things you can get or do for free this summer. The page also incorporates the same type of information as found in the site's Twitter and Facebook postings (which also can be accessed from the "News" page). Some events/activities may be open only to residents of certain cities; others are open to the general public. Check with the sponsoring venue if you are unsure. The list below is a dynamic list; it is updated over the course of the summer as information is received. Input from visitors is welcome, too! (Latest Update: September 28)

The video below is a film of the visit of two teens to the 1962 Seattle World's Fair. These teens could be parents of any of today's teens, who are likely to have never seen the type of telephones which are the focus of much of the video. The Fair had a futuristic theme, and the video (which is referred to as a documentary) is called "Century 21 Calling." As part of the World's Fair trivia included on the site's Facebook page, you also will find a link to the trailer for an Elvis movie set at the event called "It Happened at the World's Fair."
